The Eating Disorder Multidisciplinary Clinic includes a coordinated, collaborative approach to treating people of all ages who need support with an eating disorder.

What do we do?

The Eating Disorder Multidisciplinary Clinic is aimed at improving access to evidence-based treatment for those needing support with eating disorders, and to prioritise early intervention to curb the prevalence of eating disorders.

The team at the clinic includes a specialist team of doctors, dietitians, a psychologist, psychiatrists, a mental health clinician and nurses who work together to deliver the most up-to-date and evidence-based treatments.

Who do we care for?

Our team cares for people living in the Grampians region who need support with eating disorders and those who care for a loved one with an eating disorder.

Together with Eating Disorders Victoria (EDV), we recently secured a joint grant from the Connecting Carers in their Community Grants Program, generously provided by Carers Victoria. Supported by the Victorian Government, this grant aims to reduce isolation, enhance overall health and wellbeing, and improve connections between carers and their local community.

The grant supports the EDV team to provide telehealth counselling and face to face carer groups for those caring for a loved one with an eating disorder living in the Grampians region.

How can you access this service?
