What we do?

The Access and Triage service is the entry point for referrals to the Grampians Area Mental Health Service. This is a 24 hour, 7 days-a-week telephone referral service.

Phone: 1300 247 647

If you are in an emergency situation and are worried about your safety or someone else's, please call 000 for an immediate response.

What to expect?

When a referral is made via the Access and Triage Service, an experienced mental health clinician will undertake a screening assessment, by asking a number of questions, in order to determine how we might best help. The triage clinicians will determine the nature and urgency of the response required.

The Access and Triage clinician will want to speak with the person being referred wherever possible.

Interventions offered may include referral to our community mental health teams or discussion and recommendations around other treatment services.

Who we care for?

We provide specialist mental health services to the Grampians communities.

How to access this service?
