A BRICC Wellness Centre program.

These sessions focus on promoting wellness during and after cancer treatment with adequate nutrition and healthy eating, physical activity and strategies to support mental wellbeing.

The Why Wait for Wellness group education sessions are facilitated by a dietitian, clinical psychologist and exercise physiologist. The focus is on promoting wellness during and after cancer treatment with adequate nutrition and healthy eating, physical activity and strategies to support mental well-being.

The program includes two 2-hour group education sessions, ran on consecutive weeks.  Information is provided on improving your quality of life by gaining confidence with exercise, improving nutrition and emotional well-being, as well as managing symptoms.

You can attend at any stage of cancer diagnosis and treatment. Family members, support persons and carers are welcome.

Bookings in advance essential. These sessions are free and held monthly on a Wednesday 9.30-11.30am. Please check at the Wellness Centre or BRICC reception for dates.
