We are able to perform Diagnostic Bronchoscopy and pleural procedures.
Our team also treats Pulmonary Fibrosis, severe Asthma, Sleep Apnoea and Oxygen Therapy as well as a range of other treatments.

What do we do?

Our team of specialists assists patients with treatment and management of respiratory, sleep problems, general medicine and clinical allergies.

Who do we care for?

Our team helps people with thoracic (chest-related) conditions, respiratory conditions including lung cancer, issues with sleep and allergy issues.  We also provide a domiciliary oxygen access clinic and oxygen treatments.

What can you expect?

After every admission and clinic appointment we will send a letter to your GP to communicate our diagnosis and plan of treatment.

It is very helpful for your family to be present during your inpatient stay, as well as your clinic appointment, to ensure that everyone has a clear understanding of what we think is happening to you.

We actively engage the expertise of specialist centres in Melbourne for the management of particularly complex problems when necessary.  We also have regular forums within the unit to draw on the expertise of members of the whole team in the management of difficult problems when they arise.

You should also bring an up-to-date list of your medications and any allergies. It is also preferred if a member of your family can attend your appointment.
