A BRICC Wellness Centre program.

The time and costs associated with cancer treatment and recovery can have a significant impact on your financial situation. Ask about superannuation, insurances, Centrelink and more.

Anyone who has ever had to deal with cancer knows the financial burdens the disease imposes on both patients and their families. Thanks to Tour de Cure, you can book in for a one on one session with a financial advisor to ask questions and seek advice on accessing superannuation or the insurance benefits, Centrelink or general financial advice.

The program runs on the third Thursday of the month.

What is the financial advice session?

Anyone who has ever had to deal with cancer knows the financial burdens the disease imposes on both patients and their families. The time and costs associated with cancer treatment and recovery can have a significant impact on your financial situation.

Many people with cancer have questions about accessing their superannuation or the insurance benefits attached to their superannuation. Centrelink offers benefits to people with cancer such as the Disability Support Pension, Newstart Allowance, Concession and Health Care Card, Rent Assistance and Mobility Allowance. However, people are unsure of what they may be entitled to or where to start. Others may just have general concerns or questions regarding their financial future.
