COVID-19 News Update - Visitor Restrictions
Once again, the COVID-19 situation is rapidly evolving. As such, please ensure you understand the important changes that have been implemented at Ballarat Health Services this week.
To ensure further protection for our most vulnerable members of the community visitors are no longer permitted at Ballarat Health Services unless approved on compassionate grounds.
Compassionate grounds can include:
- caring for a child
- caring for those with a disability
- support during labour
- in specific emergency situations
- visiting those in palliative care
We know these restrictions can be challenging and we understand each family’s situation is different.
