Changes to accessing the BRICC building for Specialist Clinics patients

Thursday 3 November 2022

We are currently preparing for Stage Two of the Ballarat Base Hospital Redevelopment to start which will include construction of the new Central Energy Plan and Support Services (CEPSS) building.

These works will require the BRICC linkway to change significantly, and as a result, a section of the BRICC linkway at the Ballarat Base Hospital on both Ground and Level 1 will be closed.

As of today (Thursday 3 November), patients to our Specialist Clinics on Level 3 of BRICC can also now access BRICC via the hospital’s Sturt Street entrance.  Please note, only patients to our Specialist Clinics on Level 3 of BRICC and oncology patients can enter via the Sturt Street entrance.

Patients can still access BRICC via the hospital’s Drummond Street entrance using Level 1.

Patients entering the hospital's Drummond Street entrance should use the Gold Lifts in the GP Foyer, take the Lift to Level 1 and then follow the blue BRICC signs to the BRICC building.

If you have any queries at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the team at redevelopment@bhs.org.au.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience as we build a bigger and better hospital.
