Is the AstraZeneca vaccine safe?
Yes. The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) has recommended the AstraZeneca vaccine remains safe to be given to people aged 50 years and over.

There is no particular requirement regarding the order of receiving a dose of flu vaccine and a dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. However, the preferred minimum time between a dose of flu vaccine and a dose of COVID-19 Vaccine (Pfizer or AstraZeneca) is 7 days.
