Spiritual Care seeks to engage with your concerns as you journey through times of illness, challenge and uncertainty. We support patients, carers, families and staff. The team are always ready to talk and to listen to people, whether they are religious or not.

The Spiritual Centre is available for quiet time, meditation, reflection or prayer every day. It is located on the ground floor at the Sturt Street end of the hospital, just along the corridor from BRICC.

Meditation sessions are held Tuesdays at 2:15pm-2:45pm and Thursdays from 12:30pm-1pm in the Spiritual Centre.

Spiritual Care workers respect and understand the broad range of beliefs, cultures and backgrounds of our patients. They are trained to be good listeners and to help you explore your own spiritual beliefs and resources.

Spiritual Care Coordinators are here to listen to your worries, share your joys, explore the big questions with you and pray with you if you wish. If you would like to talk to a Spiritual Care Coordinator, please ask the ward staff. Your own priest, minister or faith leader can also visit you in hospital if you wish.

The Spiritual Care Coordinator can be contacted on 5320 4448.
