A range of parking options exists at all of our facilities.
Base Hospital car parking
A multi-storey car park is available at the Base Hospital and can be accessed via Mair Street. Public parking is available on the ground floor and Level 1. Parking fees apply. Disabled parks are also available on the ground floor.
Payment for parking is at the pay station located in lift lobby of the car park. Accepted payments are cash or credit card. You can also pay at the exit gate with credit card only.
Drop off and pick up zone's are available within the car park and there is no fee for drivers using the drop-off zone's and staying less than 30 minutes.

BHS is committed to providing car parking to staff, patients and visitors in a fair and reasonable manner. There is currently in place a maximum daily charge of $16 for a single entry, and multiple days parking will capped at $40 for a single entry.
Dialysis patients have six designated parking spaces that are available free of charge. Please note, a dialysis parking permit must be displayed on their dashboard.
Department Heads, Nurse Units Managers, Social Workers and other relevant BHS staff, who are aware of circumstances where a Patient or Carer would be disadvantaged by the standard parking fees, can elect to allow a $3 discounted parking ticket to be used at their discretion, for those clients as a concession to their parking fees. Please speak with your treating team.
Queen Elizabeth Centre
The Queen Elizabeth Centre site has limited free on-site car parking. There is free two-hour parking along the streets surrounding the complex.
Disabled parking is located in various locations around the Base Hospital.
Queen Elizabeth Centre
There are a number of disabled parking spaces located on Ascot Street South, near the entrance to the Queen Elizabeth Centre. There are also a number of spaces located at the main entrance (these can be accessed via the main driveway).

Onsite disabled parking.
