Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS)

Who we are / What we do?

The Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS) specifically caters for children and adolescents who, as a result of injury, medical/surgical intervention, or functional impairment, will benefit from a program of developmentally appropriate, time-limited, goal-focussed multidisciplinary rehabilitation. This includes children and adolescents with congenital, developmental-based or acquired conditions amenable to rehabilitation.

The VPRS will build on and integrate with existing paediatric and rehabilitation service platforms with links to the VPRS Statewide Service, Allied Health and the Botox Clinic at the Queen Elizabeth Centre.

Staff involved in the program at the QEC include Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Neuro-psychology, Orthotics, Paediatrician and Paediatric Rehabilitation Specialist
