Yesterday our pop-up testing at Marty Busch Reserve closed, after a very busy fortnight testing and tracing our community to beat down this latest outbreak. Each time we enact a COVID response, we rely on our community to assist with a range of needs – generously and immediately. Each time we are overwhelmed by the level of support we receive. It takes a village to raise a testing site!
5-day vaccination blitz
On Tuesday 1 June, the State Government announced a 5-day vaccination blitz for aged care and disability workers from Wednesday 2 June to Sunday 6 June.
Pop-up testing in Ballarat
Our Rapid Response Testing Team (RRTT) will again set up a mobile COVID-19 testing facility in response to the concerning rise in cases in our region.
Visitors required to wear a mask
Earlier this week Ballarat Health Services introduced the use of masks to further protect the most vulnerable members of our community – our patients and residents.
Local school staff testing available
Ballarat Health Services is providing a pop-up clinic for staff from local schools to be tested for COVID-19 before students return to on-site learning.
More than 900 tests across Ballarat in one day
Together we are working to get the evidence we need to understand the health of our community. And yesterday the community participated in a phenomenal 920 tests for COVID-19 across Ballarat.

New support for Victorian carers | Carers Gateway
New, improved, and expanded services are available to Victorian carers. As of Monday 6 April, a consortium of Victorian health providers will offer free, early intervention support under the brand Carer Gateway, in an effort to avoid carers reaching a crisis point.
