  • Peripheral Intravenous Cannulation for Adults (PIVC)
  • ECG Interpretation
  • Nursing Assessment of the Patient (NAP) program
  • Assessment, Intervention, Management for the Older Person (AIMTOP)
  • Central Venous Access Devices (CVADs)
  • Fetal Surveillance Education Program
  • Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course (ADAC)

Some of these courses may also be conducted as part of Continuing Nurse and Midwifery Education or the Highway Model of Continuing Nurse and Midwifery Education.

The Highway Model of Continuing Nurse and Midwifery Education

The Highway Model of continuing Nurse and Midwifery Education is facilitated by the Centre for Education and Training at Grampians Health Ballarat and focuses on the provision of high quality education programs within the Grampians Region.

This education model is funded by the Department of Health, Victoria.

Continuing Nurse and Midwifery Education

The Continuing Nurse and Midwifery Education program focuses on the provision of high-quality education programs at Grampians Health Ballarat.

All nurses and midwives from Grampians Health Ballarat are able to attend these programs at minimal or no cost, courtesy of the Department of Health (Victoria) funding and the commitment that Grampians Health Ballarat has to assist the professional development of their nursing and midwifery staff.
