This ANZAC Day echoes deeply with Rachel Fishlock, Acting Director Primary and Community Care at Grampians Health. Earlier this year, Rachel was honoured to be selected as a recipient of the esteemed Bullwinkel Scholars Program by the Australian College of Nursing (ACN).
Grampians Health’s Support Services team plays an integral role in keeping our health services and others running, laundering 4,673,439 items of linen each year which equates to 4,207 tonnes or about 1000 adult elephants.
Grampians Health has joined an international trial conducted by teams at Auckland University, the Liggins Institute and the University of Melbourne which asks the question: "Can we safely reduce the risk of breathing problems for newborn babies by giving corticosteroid injections to their mother before a planned caesarean section?"
